I was always afraid to get my eyebrows waxed and i have been tweezing them for many years now (like.. 4?) and i have never got them waxed or tweezed by a professional. I just dont know where to go and what to ask for! Now that i am plucking more and more its so much work. I have black hair. I pluck from the above and below and between the eyebrows.. i didnt hav much hair there but as i pluck they seem to grow darker every time. What should i do? Do waxing hurt? how often do i need to get them waxed? where should i go? what should i ask for? How long do my eyebrows hav to be? (if im gonna grow them out and get waxed ill hav to use march break) ?? i need general info on tweezing and waxing eyebrows.. and if there are other methods.. thanks! Oh and how are the waxes u buy from stores? (like the ones u can do at home)

SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!

I would highly suggest waxing!! I used to pluck then my brother's girlfriend finally forced me to wax and because she works at a beauty salon, she did it for me. It does not hurt...just a little shocking at first.

Make sure that if you have sensitive skin that they put some kind of lotion on before they wax so they don't take your skin off too...it's not as bad as it sounds...it will just be a little more red and sensitive to the touch if they don't. But after a while, it won't bother your skin at all.

Yes, you do have to let them grow a little...enough so that the wax can get around the individual hairs...so it will be visible.

You can buy the wax and wax pot to do it yourself but be very careful...if you get a few hairs that you didn't want, they can be a little more mis-shapen that you would have liked. You should have it done a couple times to see how it's done before attempting it yourself.

It's really not as big of a deal as it sounds...I was terrified at first but it is so worth it...and salon professionals usually know how to shape them perfectly.

if you are tweezing at home you can take an ice cube ( it will numb the area)on the eyebrow and cool it don then plug the hair from below the brow in shape.
Go for a waxing to a professional ! It will feel like ripping a band aid of ! If you can deal with this then go to a pro. They can whip those eyebrows in shape in no time at all .
Good luck

its really not that hard

go to a nail salon that does waxing and just tell them "i want my eyebrows waxed" and theyll take you to a chair and theyll ask you how you want them..and you tell them how. they put hot wax on and this cloth and rip it off,it doesnt hurt, the first time it might. and then its all over. wont take from like 5-10 min.

you should go and get them shaped perfectly before you screw up with your tweezers

Ask for a gentle wax, It always hurt before and then my beautician started using a gentler wax, and it didn't hurt!
