why is it a big deal.. just chekc their candy and go with them unless you're talking about older kids let them do what they want

these days going door to door is pretty dangerous, depending on where you live. usually i see parents waiting with the kids outside the door, or they go all the way to the front porch. that's probably a better idea - (that way, instead of a stranger kidnapping the children only, the stranger kidnaps the kids & the parents!) & tell the kids to not eat any candy that did not get commercially wrapped. so if you could find a supervised party, it's better than just trick or treating

I have a Haunted House Party every year for the kids I feel much better about that , keeping them safe .

parties are soooo fun. you don't have to worry about going up to creepy people's doors or what the weather will be like or anything like that. plus you can play games! have fun!

it all depends on the area you live in to determine which is safer. Just make sure you have your eyes on your child no matter what. Safety is imperative.
