I used to be a caregiver for this lady, so I slept in her son's bed 5 nights a week (alone) of course, and I had major trouble sleeping in it, like the life energy was being drained from me. It was terrible, and one night I woke up and there was this ghost or figure to the left of the bed.

Other caregivers complained of the son's bed too say they had trouble sleeping in his bed.

What could this be, bad energy from the son and it's transferred on to his bed.

Note: He does sleep in the bed on weekends.

Why would a demon possess an object? And if it does, would it be from the son's bidding?

Emotions are energy and they can be transferred to inanimate objects, such as beds or houses. A person's thoughts, emotions, fears, anxieties and everyday stress generates some form of transferrable energy. If her son sleeps in the bed on the weekends, his energy can be transferred thus. We are all surrounded by a natural energy field (aura or biofield) that reflects these emotions and it changes according to moods, etc. When you and the other caregivers have slept in the bed, your energies and his interface, like mixing oil and water because certain energies are not compatible with another's - that's why we sometimes automatically like or dislike a person.

The ghostly figure appeared when you were waking up. The subconscious mind is more receptive to psychic energies or paranormal phenomena when first going to sleep or when first waking up. That also means that the mind reacts to the surrounding energies and projects it outwards in the form of an hallucination or some other manifested image.

It does not necessarily mean that there's always some "discarnate" or "demonic" entity, as there are a lot of different factors to consider first.

Fear is often the major contributor of the appearance of discarnate entities. Feeling as though the life is being drained from you will inevitably engender some kind of fear, which may also be fueled by the appearance of the ghostly figure.

Some people also subconsciously ennervate a person because they draw from the energies of other people to "fill in" what's missing in their own lives (and energies). This can also be transferred to objects. And because the body is the closest point of contact to the bed, it is enhanced.

From what I know... Places objects buildings homes ... all hold and posses energy . This comes from everyday living in these places. On some scientific level theses places... purge this energy. Its not known how but when this happens you see hauntings .. usually re sidual .. like a movie that shows over and over. What happened to the son????? this may give you an answer to why you feel awful in his bed... IS he troubled?Have you ever sat down and talked to him ... this energy from him may be stored inthe room, or the bed .It also could be the room... RObert is a doll that lives in Key WEST .. He was made for this child .. The story escapes me .. But robert was moved to a museum because Robert moved around a lot ( he was constantly being found in places that the museum did not put him . .. I think that he was looking out the window one night.. ??? he is an object that is considered haunted... BUt maybe the son is troubled ( could be by any number of things ) or this residual energy is left from some other person living inthe home .. mabey a hundred years ago..... I would say yeah . somethings have bad energy like some people give off a bad vibe... I think that demon possesion is differnt ... NOW you can have spirits that do take energy from you. You need to call a paranormal ghost team .. they come and rid your house of this .. they say spread salt and do a cleansing with sage... and ask the energy to go to the christ conciseness. But your not working there anymore ..I bet you feel better now,....

Don't get too freaked out. The negative energy does not mean it is evil or demonic.
He could just be a very negative person and as others have pointed out, he can leave that as an imprint on an object.
I would just do what HMMMM said. I would pray for the bed to be cleansed before you slept in it.
As for seeing something or someone upon waking...it does not mean it is evil. I think that could be a complete separate issue from the "bed of bad vibes":)

Hmmm! I believe that energy can be transferred to inanimate objects. But the thing to question is, " Is the bed metal or wood? If the bed is wood, energy may be absorbed into the bed more than metal. And If he (the son) is sending out or spewing out negative energy the bed may absorb it. And also when so much negative energy is in one place it may manifest itself into a form. Just my two cents worth.

Yes,all objects can absorb energy whether it be positive or negative. It is not demons possessing the bed, but bad energy from the environment in which it is subjected to.

Just like a house can have negative energy, so can a piece of furniture. It could also be that the son does not welcome your presence during the week and has left his mark (banished, so to speak) to keep anyone from using his bed. Most people do not enjoy others sleeping in their beds, it is too personal.

The facts of this world are by far stranger then the fiction of this world. And yes if a house can be haunter why not a bed. And demons Can process anything. And remember that they are alive and not ghost. And certain segment of mankind have dealt with and are still dealing with demons, And mankind still has a long way to go in understanding them.....................

i believe this is more of an oriental question than superstitious, first i read that if the head of the bed faces north your okay, other wise the situation is troubling because of the magnetic cosmic imprint, hope i said this right because i do know that they(orientals) have one way the the head board goes in the relationship to north and this will ultimately give you a chance to move the bed and dust, change sheets and blankets, and ne pillows and get a window open and enjoy life.

Yes, we are pure energy, and we leave redisual on things that's why we will wear boyfriends shirt when we miss them or little kids will have a blanket or bear they have to have, there is energy on things.

Clear your space as well as the space around you. You are more powerful than any spirit. You need to affirm that in yourself. I clear my space at night, I say " All negitive energies bad vibes dark fragments leave my space now...go in love and light but leave my space now." I then imagine a big ball of light starting in my heart and becoming bigger and bigger pushing the negative energies out of the room, out of the house out of the block and out of the world. Think positive thoughts, and whatever you believe, I believe in God and angels I imagine them around me.

Negative energies FEED on your scared thoughts. Be light be happy loving and positive and they should leave and find something and somewhere else to go. Tell them to go to the light!

Good luck!

Think about it? Your dead you don't know what to do, where is a comfortable place to suck energy out of a person to then do what you gotta do. Sounds to me like a fairly new hag, that don't know what there doing, or may be just a nicer one. lol, What I'm staying is your like its cup of Coffey in the morning. If it was me I would try to talk to it, ask it for stuff in return for energy. Of cores it could just be nothing.
