was sitting across the street from a small intersection where these two black guys were crossing. They both hit the intersection at the same time and the lady nearly hit the black guys. In the mean time the lady yells out her window "why dont you watch where your going you stupid nigg3rs" She was about 30 and the guys were in their early twenties. The guys started yelling at her and she started yelling back. Next thing you know one reaches back and punches her in the face. She slumped over and was knocked out cold for a few minutes at least. Do you think she deserved it?

Yes, I would have reported it, but I also would have told the cops exactly what I had seen, from her almost hitting them to the final confrontation.
She was wrong to use racial slurs, but they were wrong too for jay walking and for the one guy reaching and punching her. Did you check on her to make sure she was okay? If not you was also wrong there, plus you was wrong not reporting the incident.

I would've reported it. The men could be violent criminals or escaped mental pationts. You did a stupid thing in not reporting the crime. She didn't deserved to get punched. The guys deserve jail time for not only hitting her but also for jaywalking.

They were all wrong but the guys should have never hit her and should have been arrested. You should have called the police. That is why this kind of thing continues because nothing is reported.

hell yes. There are better ways of resolving things like this without resorting to derogative insults. Besides which i mean a punch in the face? she's lucky she's not curbstomped or knifed.

not our place to judge if she deserved it or not.

to hit another is against the law.

to not report a crime that one saw is also a crime.

The only person who followed the law here was the woman, she might have been rude but she never broke a law.

She probably "deserved" it and surely most black people would agree. However, it's assault to strike someone based just on a verbal confrontation.

You were wise to stay out of it.
