Sounds like you are off to good start by thinking he's an asshole. Most people would be missing him/her. Always remember why you broke up in the first place. Reinvent image. You don't ever want to look bad or else the ex will feel they have an effect on you. Hang out with friends and get back out there.

Realize that not all men are like him. He was in your life and now he's your ex for reason. Take a little bit of time for yourseld. You'll bounce back. Just set the bar higher when choosing men. Don't just settle.

I found someone who was the total opposite and reminds me everyday of what an @$$hole my ex was.....those reminders really help to realize you are better off without them......
