When i try to put certain songs on my iPod shuffle it takes a really long time, like 30 minutes. It might be the new iTunes version, because around the time i installed it this started happening. I have a warranty. Should I take it back? Any advice?

I had the same thing happen. Some songs weren't uploading and would just lock up itunes.

I also had a warranty and took it in. They tried to verify that is wasn't working correctly by uploading their songs to it. It did the same thing, but tried to tell me that it worked fine. I verified to them that the 8 songs they put on it weren't there as it showed on the itunes screen, and the guy agreed he was wrong. Also, the shuffle was blazing hot when he gave it back to me. They sent it in and it was a flash drive that started to fail. It works fine now with zero issues.

Take it in with the shuffle completely blank and take one of the songs that won't upload on a disk or burn it to a cd. They may wan't to verify it or will just send it in.
