When you get a sore throat do you usualy know right away or does it take a bit?

What i mean is does it take a little while for it to develop and really seem like a sore throat or d oes it feel like one right away?

Sorry for all the questions about sickness and sore throats..

Well, usually for me, it takes a full two days before the cold really hits, and I'm sneezing and runny nose AND stuffy nose

usually, i know i have a sore throat when i think to myself "hhmmm, my throat is sore"
