New York & Company make some very classic, nice styles that are inexpensive.
Chadwick's of Boston also makes classic styles at very low prices. They have business suits as well, and coordinates, and their stuff lasts forever. I have clothes from there from 10 years ago that are still stylish, and have never had to be repaired.

I don't know what you consider inexpensive, but try discount stores like TJ Maxx, Marshall's, and Ross. They usually have a wide selection of styles and sizes in the same quality clothing you find in department stores and specialty stores for much cheaper. I found a $300 holiday suit on clearance for $20 one time :-)
If you have the patience to browse through their hodge-podge of racks, you can find some fantastic deals.
