I respect sensible, logical and reasonable ideas over anything, this includes political ideas.
How could I respect for example someones political idea that cities should be abandoned, professionals should be exterminated, business baned and everybody should dedicate himself to a Neolithic type of farming to create a new and pure society. Discarding all human inventions, advancement and art up to now.
If you think this is fantasy, look up in your Internet : Pol Pot+Cambodia.
It happened in the 80´s and 90´s
You cannot respect all ideas.

No. I recognize the right of others to hold their political views, and to freely express them here. That's the American way.
That said, I am under NO OBLIGATION to "respect" someone's political views. Many people hold views which are idiotic and repulsive. Why should I respect them? I will uphold their right to express their views, however.

ALL NEW! Political Survey 2005
This is the only internet survey of political views based on real opinion poll data. We can tell you not only where your views lie, but how they compare to the views of the rest of the British population.

No, I would think political views that violate Yahoo's Community Guidelines, such as those promoting hatred, would not be tolerated by many people. Plus there are many things you can say that will offend some people.

Not if someone disagrees with your view, then they tend to ridicule. At the moment,at least, I still have to right to state my views.
