I recommend Sarah Dessen, Joan Bauer, and Stephenie Meyer.

Sarah Dessen writes great books. My favorite is the truth about forever. Her newest book is Just Listen. But you could pick up any of her books, and almost definitely be assured of a good read. I've read all but one of her books.

Joan Bauer is another author I absolutely love. Her books are so great. I loved Hope Was Here. That is my favorite of hers, but I've read all of her young adult books and they're great. Squashed is also good as is The Rules of the Road.

Stephenie Meyer has written two books Twilight and New Moon they are the first in her series of books about vampires. They're great books.

Another title I'd recommend is Hit The Road by Caroline B. Cooney. It is very funny.

A really really good romance novel is Twilight by: Stephenie Meyer, it's about vanpires but it fits in there to where is not strange-its hard to describe.
There's alot of mystery books by: Joan Lowery Nixon that are really good. Another author is Phillis reynolds naylor.
And some sorta cheesy books by: Meg Cabot.

Have you ever read Face on the Milk Carton? If you're into young adult novels that one has won a lot of awards and it's really rather good.
