i was wondering if anyone knows if there is going to be a newer ipod coming out. i have the video, but my friend wants one for christmas, and i dont want to get him the video like i have, and then a new one come out, if you know what i mean lol

Alot of you just don't know what you are talking about.
The new Nanos 2G have been released. In January (around the 10th ), a new iPod with BlueTooth or Wifi capabilities is going to come out (Jobs even said it!). Additionally, a new iPod-Phone will be released with Cingular as its first carrier. That one is expected to come out in the first quarter of 07.

I dont think there is a new one coming out. They have the new ipod nanos in different colors now though.

i was told that a new one might come out but if u go to apple.com they have an aids i pod and a u2 i pod and the new color nanos so i have a feeling that no new ones till after Christmas

get him a different color one i don't think there coming out with anthing newer they came out with a smaller shuffle and different color nanos but i don't think there coming otu with anything newer but u never know but just get him a vidoe ipod in another color so its not really like the one u have

Do not, under any circumstances, get an iPod. Apple sucks big time. Get a Creative Zen, Microsoft Zune, Sansa SanDisk, Sony...ANYTHING except an iPod.
Get it at Best Buy with a 2 yr. warranty so that if anything screws up, your friend can get it exchanged.

The New ipod will be in market so soon,having features like Mobile phone,Web browser,Messenger service,SMS,Radio,Video and music+Camera with a hard drive about 60GB.Costing will be around $ 499.00 in US.
