Never been to the USA but people I know who have been there said it was nice with very friendly people so I wouldn't mind giving it a try. Being English though I would have to pick GB as there's no place like home.

I like the USA (San Francisco bay area, California)because I always have be on my best game when I go out. Everyone is very independent and this can push your buttons very quickly. So being aware of world events is mandatory, and knowledge of world religions, also is important as everyone is free to worship here, and if you forget - you can be embarrassed by your ignorance.
One of the better qualities of life in USA is the cultural festivals! Some months there are two or more in one weekend and I welcome Monday to rest up for the next weekend. Also everyone has a hyphen in their family tree (some have three or more). So everyone has stories to tell, at the BBQs that are everywhere. We have passion about our sports teams, (well everyone has this). FOOD! we have Tex-Mex sushi. Mongolians cooking spaghetti. It's amazing and so good. Check our comedians - great source of knowledge to pick between UK and USA.
Oh, I just thought of this - USA has size, and this means climate, and terrain. like snow, dry heat, mountains, rivers - here there is a different type of place to live, California alone this is true. Animals - like alligators - we got'em, like bison - got'em (and a whole park at Yellowstone) like coastal life? We have three coast and Alaska and Hawaii (ALL COASTAL!)
So I think looking over an atlas at USA will be a long night of fun, there are amazing places here.
Can't say anything bad about UK. I am sure the history alone draws thousands to live there.

i have not in any respect been outdoors of the U. S. this is demanding for me to say. And we've similar subject matters right here with jobs - yet i recognize residing right here..presently I stay in Virginia (mid-Altantic East coast of the country) and that i like it - large factors of interest to work out, enormous cities interior of reach - cool places to paintings and play. Google some places to envision out long island, Florida or Texas - seem at some homes apts. jobs and factors of interest - and strong success! i might want to like to commerce and verify out the united kingdom sometime too...as stupid because it sounds i imagine i might want to get a kick out your accent 247.

The USA is definitely better because San Jose, California is the best place to live, perfect weather, beautiful mountains and the beach is right around the corner. the only downside is the cost : [

If you are young, white, good looking, intelligent, willing to work hard and healthy then the USA is the place to be.
If you are old, poor, ugly, defenceless, or "different " in any way you better pray you are in a civilised country like the UK or any other European nation. Because the yanks will just walk all over you, they are viscious.
