I just had my baby taken away that I adopted because the social worker came at 10:00 and I forgot to stay home from work. Is there any way I can get her back? Or maybe a cheat that lets me adopt a different baby? Is there anyway to get around it?

You cannot get your baby back. If you wanted, you could have quit without saving and reloaded. Your family will not be allowed to adopt because of their history of abandonment! Your sim will have to get pregnant and give birth the old fashioned way to get another baby.

hm, i dont think theres a cheat for that. but a lot of times when a child gets taken away by a social worker and you have people in another household call and adopt a baby (the same age as the one that was taken away in the other house) its the same kid! so maybe you want to try that =]

An easy way you could have solved this was to not save the game, but i don't think there is any way to get her back assuming you saved the game. Just adopt another baby! or find a love interest and work your magic and get pregnant and there you go.

Well you cant get her back. The only way to make a new baby is to mate with someone (you know how its so easy o propose and they'll say yes) or just keep kissing till they say do you want a baby? That will probably work. And I dont think there is a cheat to get back your baby.
