Are they gone from your Trash/Recycle folder?
If so, they are probably gone for good. If it is a matter of life and death, power the computer down immediately and take to a forensic specialist, they can get deleted files off your disk. If you have to ask, you probably cannot afford it.

they're probably in the trash can or trash folder of your account, so you can just open that folder, but if they're gone from there, i think they're completely deleted.

Check your trash folder. If it's not in there, then you have permenantly deleted it and you can't retrieve it.
