Probably because he is bright enough to know that most managers fail. This is because there are a limited number of trophies to win. The conversion rate of good players to good managers is minimal, otherwise Bobby Charlton, Billy Bremner and George Best would have been brilliant managers. Andy Gray was one of the best centre forwards in Evertons history. He had skill speed and incredible bravery. Whatever he is like now, don't let it make you think he was a tosser in his playing days. By the way, why do you think he is a tosser? I don't.

He was offered a management position once, can't remember where, but turned it down.
Yes he has a good striker, but let's face it it's easier to say how someone is doing something wrong that to do it right. That said, if you could get his salary and could travel the world at SKYs expense would you take the hassle of management? I wouldn't.

to be honest fella a lot of people dont seem to like his views but for me he does his job well knows what hes talking about alot more than you anyway and why would he wanna be a football manager when hes on the money hes on for commontating no stress there. .
