Been There for 16 years with EX !!!!
He's not very smart because that child support is just accumulating and he will owe you the back support if he's old and your boys are over 18. Some states won't renew his drivers license if there is a large arrearage and bench warrant on him!!!
Just remember...it will catch up to him!!
Try not to think about it..You will probably get lump sums from when he goes to jail or his income tax.
Never talk about him in a bad way in front of your boys; they will see for themselves when they are old enough!

If you can get addresses for his home or employers; get them to your F.O.C. enforcer and work with them!
They're your only hope for getting the child support!!!
Let them know you want enforcement for his non payment!!
When they set a court date for a show cause hearing they will either A. Put a bench warrant out for him failing to appear or B. demand $ right there or he'll go to jail!
There are alot of dead beat fathers out there, your not alone!!
Good Luck to you..

Find out from the courts what you can do about the deadbeat. Surely they can take his income tax refund or garnish part of his wages. One thing though, speaking as a male who pays support try to leave the guy with enough money to have a life. It'll save tons of bad feelings down the road.

Contact the state office of recovery services, they will need a copy of the court order. Once they open a file on him and locate him they will start trying to collect the money/garnish his wages. They can also seize tax returns and also seize bank accounts. Good luck but remember after you are done being bitter, he IS your kids' dad and they will remember how you deal with him.

If you have a court order, talk to your attorney. He could be held in contempt of court and his wages could be garnished (sp). Don't let his cheat his boys out of things because he's too cheap to voluntarily sent a check. The courts will be happy to get the money from him and send it to you.
Good luck

Go through the system. It's the best way if he skipped to another state. They will find him no matter where he is as long as he has a job.
