were going on a field trip to a naval and military park and i want to give them some kind of ideas of things they might see by doing crafts and by playing games

Battle ship I know its silly but you can play Battle ship and talk about what the real ships look like as for Military in general play go fish with flash cards made from pictures of Military things. that's all I really got sorry hope it helps.

Contact your nearest Lowe's or Home Depot and explain what you are doing. They have kids workshops once a month or so and may have some extra projects that might fit your theme.

Otherwise, contact a hobby shop from the yellow pages and see if the owner might be generous enough to supply you with kits.

Joann's or Michael's may also have "kits" that could work...

I like to rely on good, old-fashioned modelling clay or popsicle sticks for creating projects...

i forgot some of the rules, but i know a game called army-navy .
ok so there are two walls one of them is the army and the other is the navy. theres a captain or someone of military status that gives out instructions for the cadets( the 7-8 yr old boys) try looking how to play it on the internet. i have played it myself and it is fun
