I've noticed a lot of Bosox fans rooting for Detroit now that the your own teams are out of the running. What brings you over to the Detroit Tigers in Post-Season.

I used to like the Tigers back in the day. I have watched Baseball since I was a kid and recalled the last years of the Sparky Anderson regime. Kirk Gibson was great for them as well as my hometown Dodgers.
Now I root for them because after such terrible years for them to be this close is amazing.

I'm rooting for the Tigers for two reasons. Kenny and Pudge.
Kenny Rodgers deserves his time in the spotlight after getting such an undeserved bad rap over the years He's always been a class act. And Pudge has been, year after year, simply the best catcher in baseball. I'm a long time, and long disappointed, Ranger fan and I'm always happy to see some of our guys doing well elsewhere. The stupid Ranger front office should have never let Rodriguez get away and certainly should have never signed A-Rod. We self-destructed after doing so.
Anyway, go get 'em, Tigers!

I am a Braves fan but I have also always liked the Tigers and rooted for them in 68 and 84 and I am rooting for them now. They were terrible last year and the year before but wow what a turnaround they made and they should be very proud.

well i was born and live in Michigan for over 25 years now i live in Atlanta but yes the braves are my team now but it is good to see my hometown team win something .it's been 20 or more years scenes they have won any thing . who don't like a under dog ? go tigers

Well I like Leyland as a manager. The team just seems to have that fire in them which makes for a great post season.

I think it is that we "TIGERS" beat the damn YANKEES so badly and the are baseball fans and have to root for someone. But I think it is all about beating the yankees my friend I'm from Flint Mi. myself, And live in Missouri get a load of that will you? if the Cardinals get in I'll still root for the TIGERS.

I think the Tigers deserve to be there.12 years of not making the post season.2 years ago they had 119 losses.So yeah they deserve it.GO TIGERS GO
