It is from a Burnham furnace (boiler)

a burner access panel is just that----- a panel that can be taken off to get access to the burners to clean them or change them if needed. It may be located on the front of the boiler. locate where the pipe goes into the unit that feed the burners and it will probably be right there. good luck---------

I assume you are lighting your pilot. Look at your furnace and you will see a metal door that comes off or opens. Behind that door is your furnace valves, etc. Look down to where the gas pipe comes into the furnace and you will note a manifold (pipe with a number of branches) that connects to your burners. There should be a panel down there that is held in place by one or more screws. Remove that panel. There should be instructions on door or side of furnace telling to how to hold the gas trigger while lighting the pilot (use one of those long lighters)

Once the pilot lights, replace the panel and door.

It is a small flat piece of metal covering a hole to access the burner area. It is usually held in place by one or two screws
