Halloween is a kid's holiday...it's about dressing up in costumes, candy, and getting scared by creepy things. It has nothing to do with religion anymore...and hasn't for hundreds of years. It's just fun. You should obey your parents' wishes, but Halloween is harmless as long as you are respectful and careful.

Halloween, as it is now, is a secular holiday. It's no different than celebrating Thanksgiving, which has it's origins tied to Christianity in the USA. It's a day for wearing a costume and eating candy. So, unless your parents are dentists or you're diabetic, I'm sure you should be okay.

Muslims can not celebrate anything. Someone should tell all those atheletes that Muslims can not play sports either. If you live in America, tell your parents that is what we do.

Why not? If you live in another culture what better way to show respect and open-mindedness than sharing in benign festivals etc.

I'm not too sure of the muslim faith, but I think you could...
Give your heart to the one and only true God, Jesus Christ.
