I had high hopes but the reviews aren't to encouraging.

I'm thinking that you mean Man of the Year? It looks pretty good. Don't forget, the people that right reviews are basing them off their own opinions and tastes. Theirs may differ from yours.
I've seen movies that didn't do too well in the reviews but I ended up really enjoying them.

Don't go by the reviews. The critics tend to hate the movies I like and rave over movies I don't like or never heard of!

I saw it and enjoyed it. You shouldn't let reviews affect what you think, really.

the man of the year is really funny
i just saw it today
lot of parts are funny but that is in my opinion

If your talking about RV it was great, very funny. I don't know of a newer one.
