Actually he sold that stock for a 15% profit and bought shares in Noble, Ford, and General Electric (another defense contractor). Michael Moore had a net worth of 8 figures by 2002.
"When Moore flew to London to visit people at the BBC or promote a film, he took the Concorde and stayed at the Ritz. But he also allegedly booked a room at a cheap hotel down the street where he could meet with journalists and pose as a ‘man of humble circumstances.'"

Wait...he claims he's for the working man when he himself travels first class, has a $2 million home, puts his kid through a fancy private school (ok....so who was the unfortunate female to actually procreate with this guy), and makes lots of $$$ through books and films.
He says that redistribution of wealth is a good idea; well, then, how about redistributing HIS wealth? Let's see how he's keen on it.

Are you telling me that Mr Moore has not been as forthcoming as we might like in his business exploits as we might like? It is hard to believe he comes across as such an honest raving lunatic

Hey, a liar's got to have money to make more propaganda films. The Democrats can't fund all them; propaganda is expensive. He just doesn't own stock in Ford. They wouldn't take his money.

So why should he? Why don't you find out who else is a stock holder and let us all know . Not that it matters. If I could afford it, I'd buy it too. And so would you.

Michael Moore travels around on a BUS, makes very little money from the ticket sales of his events (most of it going to the operation costs of his speaking tour).
He urges people NEVER to buy his books and DVDs, but to get them from copies that people make and distribute to others for free.
Look at how he dresses, people--there is no way anyone could LOGICALLY and INTELLIGENTLY argue that he has money.
