For Christmas this year I would like it if my husband could come home. He is a Staff Sergeant in the Army Reserve and is currently serving an 18 month tour of duty in Iraq. He has been gone for 5 months, but it feels like forever. He will get to come home for 2 weeks in July, but thats still 9 months away.

I want to say that I feel foolish for wanting anything from my husband, after reading the answer from "Kisses...". I hope your husband comes home safe and sound, sweetie. I don't even know him, but, I am proud of him, too. Please tell him so.
All I really want from my husband is something that we can do together, and that is, dance lessons. I love to, he doesn't know how to, and, after waiting my whole life to find this man, I don't ever want to dance with anybody else, ever. We live near a retirement community, and every weekend, there is live music with outdoor dancing. I see the older couples together, some kick it up pretty good, some just sway...but...they are all in tune with each other and look very happy. I want that for us.
Other than that, nothing. I know it sounds corny, but, he gave me his heart, and there just isn't a better gift than that. In fact, I'm gonna go hug him right now!
