What cereal just really let you down when you ate it after becoming all "grown-up"?
I still eat cheerios, life, and if I'm feeling WILD- Captain Crunch (sometimes with the peanut butter).
I was so let down when I ate Cookie Crisp. Mom didn't let me have sugary cereal much, but man I liked Cookie Crisp. When I had that for the first time out on my own, it tasted like cardboard!

I just saw my 50 year old grandpa eating lucky charms yesterday. He is so hularious. He said to me.... Oh they have a new marshmellow shape in them now. How exciting!!!! I just laughed at him and said "I love you grandpa." He cracks me up sometimes.

I bought a box of Cookie Crisp not too long ago and was so disappointed! The cookie size is a lot smaller than what I remember and they just don't taste the same! So I can relate!
I still eat Cheerios, Frosted Flakes, Sugar Smacks and Raisin Bran.

I so agree with the cookie crisp thing. But I love Cinammon Toast Crunch, Apple Jacks, Cocoa Puffs and that Waffle Crisp Cereal.

The ONLY cereal I eat from my childhood is oatmeal. That's right! Cooked porridge (with milk and maple syrup to sweeten).
I vowed that once I became an adult and bought my own food I would NEVER EVER again eat cold cereal because that's practically all we had for breakfast when I was growing up. I can't even look at a Cheerio!

Are you kidding me? needless to say! i'm 18 and that i nevertheless love cereal (somewhat as a snack formerly mattress time)! supply me a container of Reese's Puffs or fortunate Charms and that i'm chuffed! LOL
