That's a very interesting question. It sounds gnarly enough to confound just about anyone, but I'll go ahead and try to answer it, anyway:
I would venture to speculate that it is the "animalization of sex", so to speak, tactfully, with any luck at all, huh? This should be in relation to the fruiting of torrid, or the "vegetation of sex", for example. Who knows, maybe they'll be trying THAT next down in Trinidad (just south, about thirty miles from here, in Southern Colorado!)

I presume that you wish to know the meaning of the word torrid. It means extremely hot. This is used in weather forecasts occasionally, or to refer to love affairs, usually after the fact.
