I have heard that this is possible with diet ??? Are there any proven cases ? Did you do it ? what was the outcome and what did you do ?

I should add that i already have a boy and a girl, currrently i am not pregnant. It is a pure curiosity question. If i were lucky enough to have another i would be over the moon with either a boy or a girl.

I'm not sure about diet, I cannot imagine it working very well, the best way to determine the sex of your child is using Shettles method. Shettles method is used in conjunction with FAM or NFP to choose the sex of your baby.

Sperm carrying the Y chromosome is faster but more delicate than the slower more resilient sperm carrying the X chromosome. If you time sex just as ovulation occurs the sperm carrying the Y chromosome get to the egg first, if you time sex as far away from ovulation as possible but still within the fertile period the sperm carrying the Y chromosome dies off but the sperm carrying the X chromosome can live within the fertile quality cervical mucus long enough to fertilise the egg.

Y chromosome = male – 80%-90% success rate.
X chromosome = female – 75%-80% success rate.

I don't think any foods can help, but when I was trying to conceive, my nurse told me that the sperm with the female chromosome live longer than those with the male chromosome, so you have a better chance of having a girl if you do the deed 2-3 days before ovulating because the girl sperm will live that long, but the boys won't. I was peeing on a stick, so we conceived the day of (I think) so I can't confirm this works. Good luck.

I dont think that it is down to food, however, if you download an ovulation calender then you will be able to see that there is supposed to be certain times that it is best to have a girl and certain times that it is best to have a boy, my gf is pregnant now for 1 month and it says that she is supposed to have a girl we will just have to wait and see if it works, good luck though!!!
If you download the free trial on the one below the first 3 days of being fertile you are supposed to have a girl and for the last 3 days you are supposed to have a boy.

you cant determine the sex of a baby you should love them no matter what sex they are every child is a blessing.
all my life i had a younger brother and 2 years ago mum fell pregnant again and i really wanted a younger sister id always wanted one. then we found out she was carrying twins and because my grandad was dieing they told us the sex of the babies they were boys but i despratly wanted 2 little sisters then my mum lost one and suddenly it hi me it didnt matter that i was getting another 2 little brothers all that mattered was that the one who was still alive (thomas as it means twin) stayed alive and luckily he did i would never change him for the world i have such a strong bond with him and everyday i think myself lucky to have him. as for stanley (the one who died) i wish so hard that i could have met him just so that we knew what he was like but i understand that he is somewhere better and he is with my grandad and i have a very special brother who is an angel and i know he is looking over me.
when you get pregnant just be grateful for the baby you have it doesnt matter what sex it is i learnt it the hard way.

nothing works. I have 3 boys and a baby on the way . I dont know what Im carrying yet...hopefully a girl, But I tried everything with the others. You get what you get. There are certain methods, such as the Shettles Method and of course they say somethings you can eat, etc.. But good luck with whatever you try.

the quick answer is that the gender of a toddler is set by ability of the male. The chromosomes that verify gender are the "x" and "y" chromosome. a girl has 2 "x" chromosomes and a male has an "x" and a "y" chromosome. All egg cells carry the "x" chromosome, yet sperm cells can carry the two "x" or "y." If the egg if fertilized by ability of a sperm cellular donning the "x" chromosome, the toddler would be a woman. If the sperm is donning the "y" chromosome, the toddler would be a boy.

It's all based on the acid/alkali balance. When I was trying to conceive my first child, I ate all the right foods for a girl. My son was born nine months later!

girl dont stress yourself about this, its all based on your guys chromosomes, so dont diet yourself while pregnant, eat away, any doctor will tell u its based on his chromosomes. so see what the daddy of ur baby can do to help determine the sex.
