3. One tattoo on my left ankle, one on my left calf, one on my left thigh, one on my right foot and one on my right calf. All piercings are on the ears, I have an industrial piercing on my left ear, and a tragas piercing on my right ear, not to mention the other six piercings on both ears ( I don't wear regular earrings, only the gauged kind)
4. No, I don't purposely cover my tattoos or piercings.
5. Yes, I think tattoos are definitely an art form. There are some amazing tattoo artists out there, just because they choose to work on skin instead of on a canvas does not make it any less artistic.
6. Because I wanted one.
7. Personally, I think in this day and age, they should both be acceptable, but I know that is not always the case. Some people make assumptions that tattooed or pierced people are less intelligent or troublemakers, and I think that is an unfortunate stereotype.
8. To creatively express themselves and enhance their bodies in a way that makes them happy.

2. I have 2 tattoos and 15 piercings
3. tattoos - lower back and left ankle, piercings - 14 in my ears (5 on bottom of each and two on top of each) and one in my belly button
4. i cover the tattoos for the most part unless it is warm outside then they both show....the ear piercings always show but the belly one only shows in warm weather
5. i never thought of them as an artform but yes i guess they are
6. i got them all because i wanted them
7. i think my piercings are more acceptable because of where i have them. i do not like the piercings on peoples faces
8. people get them so they will stand out from everyone else

on some people it looks good, others look stupid

depends where-I dont consider either to be unacceptable but I think people with loads of piercings or covered in tattoos just look stupid
to stand out or just because they like the look

On my right forearm on the inside.

I do not cover my tatt.

I do consider both t/p's an art form.

I got my tatt because i had just completed a phase in my life, and this was a way to celebrate it.

I think that tatts might be more acceptable right now....go figure....but piercings are on their way. I don't think people get them because they are acceptable, though.

I think people get T/P's for self expression, to symbolize something in their lives, or just because they think they are cool. I got mine because it symbolizes myself, and my parents.

I also have my ears pierced.

28, yes tattoos, 3 on my back 1 on my right ankle, the one on my ankle if i wear shorts- i don't go topless in public so don't show the ones one my back, yes, they represent my beliefs, both are becoming more acceptable, different reasons.
