I recieved a small light oak curio cabinet from my grandmother whom smokes very heavily. I am not sure how to get all of the sticky / tacky film off of the cabinet. Help please!

Degreaser works good on nicotine. There is one brand called
greased lightning. Or murphys oil soap works good to clean wood furntiure.Then go over it with furniture polish. Hope this helps.

Have you tried cleaning the furniture with murphys oil soap? It works well, just use a rag or a gentle scrubbing pad.

sugar soap is used in oz to clean walls before painting
it may be OK for the cabinet
the bottle will have instructions on it
if its no good try a mild soap & elbow grease

It is nicotine. Dish washing soap, (Dawn) will cut it. Wash it twice, let it dry, and use furniture wax on it.

use murphy`s oil soap just like you would a hardwood floor after it is clean dry with soft cloth
