when sesame street began, i remember oscar the grouch being orange. then suddenly he was green! what happened?

The creaters said he was switched because green was more grouch-like.

Oscar the grouch was yellow in the first episode. He became orange in the first year of sesame street. He later became green. I'm not sure how this happen. You can read and see his picture in the Wikipedia website.

He was green when I watched Sesame Street as a kid. I am 39 and I didn't know that he was orange.

nicely the words happy Halloween Has 14 letters :) so which you will each positioned on a letter. (i'm so unique lol) Or gown up as superheroes/ Jersey Shore young toddlers i know this youngster who dressed as a merchandising gadget. He had sodas on his lower back (wrapped in a field) you supply him 1 / 4. And his hand could convey out a soda. It become surprisingly cool

i have never seen an orange oscar. maybe he has a sister or cousin or something. oscar is green.

Well dang!! I'm 35 and have been watching that show forever. I didn't know he was another color at first. Thanks for the info. I love his pet worm but for the life of me I could never figure out where the elephant came from. Anybody know?
