I know what you mean.. In my opinion the reason why some scene people say that is b/c they themselves are posers.. and they think the goth/punk/emo identity is only theirs.. like I've noticed a lot of people at my school will be like "oh you don't know this band? and you call yourself scene? POSER!" its almost like a competition to be more scene then the other.. but thats only me..

If they are genuinely trying to be a punk or goth, fine. Teenagers try out lots of different things before they decide and/or discover what and who they are. Try not to get too worried about it. But if they're only co-opting (read: stealing) the look because they want to impress people, scare people, get a punk or goth guy or girl, they're posers. For further goth information, try goth.net. For punk....I dunno, look around. Bats and skulls, Type A-.

You know, people can change their mind about how they want to dress and there is nothing wrong with that. Often times the people who do this are looked at as being a poser- but if it's that's how they express themselves then people should just leave them alone.

Wow. Are you in junior high? Posers? God damn that brings me back to the worst years of my life.

Get a ******* life. "Cliques" are ******* lame and you should like the people you like regardless of how they dress because, from what I can tell, that's your only basis for being bias. Damn that's immature.
