You could be there, to help with the children, so maybe can have a rest or time out, ask them what would they would like done, help outside around the house, prayer that would be lovely, ask your church to pray for them, i am sure that they would be very grateful for what ever you offer to do for them, you sound like you are a really, good friend, they are lucky to have you for a friend.......good luck and god bless.

how very sad - offder practical support like doing household chores cleaning shopping etc but also offer support by listening to them - spending time with them - maybe offering to take them to hospital or a short drive to get out of the house. As for the children well it makes sense to keep their lives as normal as possible so you could really help them here by offering to do the
school run some days or taking them out to the park or club
that thye may become a member of. It is important that you remember that despite both of your friends being ill they are
the parents and a married couple so tread carefully the line between being a great friend and being a busy body is very fine
- keep praying for them as im sure many of us will

Offering to help is a big step, but not always what they need. I understand as I am still recovering from my back surgery! There are some orginizations that will help with meals, money trouble and child care. You could get some info for them about these types of places, and there are some to help with medication too! I would find out whats close to your friends, and try that!

Yes,The best way you could help besides praying is help with children, babysit, take them out of house to give sick parents some quit time and take tham to doc.appoint or pick up from school, take for weekend for a sleep over, the kids will love it and the parents will love you giving them time to grieve and feel their pain with out having to hard it all the time because of children,it sucks having to fake everythings o.k. when your in servere pain!God bless,Your a Good Friend,Hollywood

Offer to look after the children from time to time, offer any other help like shopping or housework and be there for them if they need a shoulder to cry on.

They both need to be positive and she needs to take her treatments and he needs to heel. Arrange through your network of friends to assist these folks, help them with meals(preparing them), the children(babysitting, child care) . Oragnize a fund-raiser for them. Get the community involved. Prayer helps, and action goes a long way. God helps those who help themselves and others. Good Luck to you. good friend.
