When i touch the top of my right testicle it hurts but then after a while the pain is gone This only happens once in a while, i would touch the top of the testicle when drying it with a towel or whatever and it would hurt. What is this? i hope it isnt testicular cancer because i wont have the kind of money to go through surgery plus i am currently in high school. ( im 17 ) how can i treat this, it is embarrasing if i tell my parents. Please let me know if this is something minor that i dont have to drag my parents into this.Good information please. Dont just copy and paste from google becuase i can do that also. Please help, i appreciate it very much!

while its understandable that it is icky to talk to your folks about stuff like this, it's important to have a doc check it out... if you can't go to the doc on your own, this is a good opportunity to get over your undesire to share with your folks - after all, that's basically their purpose - to see you through to adulthood... there's a time and place for everything and when your health is concerned, you should reach outside of your comfort zone and bite the bullet and ask for the help you need - there's no real way otherwise to determine the severity of the issue

you will, by turning to your folks, be practicing an important life lesson - not letting your own feelings get in the way of doing what you have to do... better a moment's embarrassment than finding out down the road that something serious is amiss, eh?

I wish you a long and healthy life

If u ask me I would say u have a bruise there. The question is has this been around a long time? If it has then u may need to see a doctor. If this just comes up like a few days ago then it may not been a big problem, and is most likely just a bruise. Wait for it to go away and if it doesn’t then see a doctor. Also, what’s the degree of pain? Like screamingly painful or just mild discomfort? We all get mild discomfort or mild pain from time to time. Screamingly painful on the other hand…yep, see a doc. Finally, ur testicles are very sensitive spot so u might be just overstimulating the nerve ending there. Hope this helps.

I'm not a doctor. But you should see one. It's better to be embarrased for a moment than to not say anything and have it be something serious. As for insurance, you are probably on your parents policy (if they have it, that is.)

This is important to check out. Get ot the doctor (hey ma I have a cold) and then when you are alone with the doctor tell him.

Honey, please talk to your dad to make you an appointment with an opthalmologist---if you don't stop touching your testicles you'll go blind.
