It's very much a possibility. Overstress and worry with work as well as exhaustion can cause a lack of interest in the more pleasurable things a couple share. I've been there. I would suggest considering some way the two of you can genuinely share an uninterrupted weekend together or the occasional night alone. I know I have been too engrossed in my work and the little things that my wife and I shared together seemed to suffer.

I tried to set my priorities straight and that seemed to help quite a bit.

When he works too much, and isn't happy with his work, he may become too focused on his work. But if he isn't happy, there is something missing in his life, and his wife can make him happy, and thus he will focus more on his wife because it is his source of happiness. When a man isn't happy, he doesn't show it, because it's natural for him. Did you know that (don't remember the numbers) many men are depressed today in the U.S., but never report it? And the psychologists used to think that men were less prone to depression because of this (haha). Some men focus more on their work when they aren't happy with it. Others just get depressed and start hanging out in the living room too much. What's yours like?

If you are the wife in question. Sure it is possible. What you need to do is find a way to ignore work and focus on you. Maybe setting aside one night a week for date night where you two go out and do something as a couple. More quality time means better intamacy!
