The structure of your question is wrong. Dont' confuse national origin and culture with religion. While its true that most of Chinese are Budhist, there are many other religions in China. While people think that most of Latinomericans are Christians many dont really know that the great majority of Latinamericans are Catholic not protestant even thou protestantism is growing in LatinAmerica. Christianism and Budhism are big in Japan but there are many other sects ans religions like muslims. You need to understand that even thou religion is a cultural phenomena some cultures practice the same religion diferently. Take for example the Jews in Germany practice their faith a little diffrent from the Jews in Israel still they have comon practices but there are also some diferences. Look at the Catholics in First wolrd countries they practice their catholicism quite diferently from Catholics in the third world were they are faced more with poverty. If you interview a missonary he will tell you how diferent they are.
