Nothing that shows too much skin... make sure your shirt isn't showing much cleavage or your midsection...just wear like normal jeans and a t-shirt or something. I'm sure you can ask your instructor what their dress code is and then dress w/in those guidelines.

I worked in a prison for more than a decade. Wear long pants or skirt if you are female, with a loose blouse or bulky sweater. Wear pants and a dress shirt with a jacket if you are male.
We used to hate when the high school choir would come at Holiday time. The child molesters and rapists would all sit up front to hear the holiday songs....

Usually the dress code is strict because the men in prisons rarely see women, so they can be crude to say the least.
The dress code is to keep them at bay as much as possible - not that they don't say things and react anyway. Stick to jeans (not super tight either), loose fitting t-shirt or sweatshirt with a bra (no underwire as it will set off the machines in most cases) and sneakers.

What I want to know is why the H*LL you are taking a feildtrip to a PRISON??!?!? but anyway, wear something nice, but not really dressy. Jeans should be OK, but no holes or frays.
No tee-shirts. Something a little dressy. Nice. Don't show a lot of skin. Make sure your shoes are easy to take off, so you know, if you have to run or something.
Try not to wear a lot of metal, and no important jewelry!!!

You want to wear business colors, like dark gray, dark blue, or black. No jewerly and no make up. Pants of course and if possible a long sleeve shirt. Try not to wear things that have the name brand written all over the product. You want to look less appealing.

Very long pants and a sweater make sure it does not have any words on it.Shoes should be easy to take off but no sandals and try to not wear any metal.

I would wear jeans and a cute t-shirt...defintely dont be revealing, i wouldnt want to give the prisoners the wrong idea!!

You can be fully covered and still get denied so make sure your clothes are not form fitting. NO SKIRTS!
