This wasn't physical abuse just a very controlling person who hurt my feelings. We were in school together. Many years have passed.

well if your a changed person and stronger it wouldn't hurt to say hello and check the waters, this can be done without opening the proverbial door all the way.

i think i would but the friendship won't be the same. i woudn't tell that person many things as i would have in the past. and if this person hurt you like taking bf or gf then i wouldn't let that person talk to the person u are coating. if that person insulted ur parents then i wouldn't let him or her talk to me again. i most wouldn't let thatperson be around me.

no not me, i didn't happen to me cause whatever happen happened and we cannot turn back the clock to undo the things we have been through. i think my life deserves a better life than letting myself to be hurt again and it's really not worth living in fear to discover when will it happen again.

well you have to think to yourselff about two things:
1.) give them a ssecond chance you siad it yourself it has been many years
2.) do not let them back and risk getting hurt all over again
