If gay marriage is legalized, should we allow for plural marriage?
What about marriage between blood relatives? Parent to offspring or sibling to sibling? First cousins? I don't want to hear about "civil unions". I'm asking about marriage rights on par with what heterosexual couples enjoy.

-DI- That was quite a rant! But you didn't answer my question. It is obvious you are a man-hater, but what about a plural marriage between all women? or marriage between two sisters? I mean, who has the right to judge who can get married, right?

Well, Plural marriage should be legal. I have never known why it is not. If someone wants more than one husband or wife I can see no problems. Who actually gets hurt with plural marriages.
The way Americans bed-hop now and the number of paternity test that take place suggest that any marriage would be a good idea.
The are really good reasons not to marry your brother are sister. Because you have the same genetic make up your children would have genetic problems.
Marrying a parent would cause the same problem so I would be against that also.
First cousins can marry in many states.
Gays are not like any couples you mentioned

If you look at the actual legal benefits and repercussions of marriage, many of them are simply inapplicable to multiple marriages. Marriage benefits like child custody and the ability to make medical decisions when a spouse is in the hospital would be incredibly confusing. Property law would have to be completely rewritten for three or more person marriages.
On the other hand, gay marriage would simply allow existing benefits to be applied to same-sex couples who married, so it doesn't have any legal or logical similarity to plural marriage.

The two aren't even comparable. Hell no, polygamy should not be legalized. A marriage between a man and a man or a man and a woman are non-harmful to society and the economy. Your incest and polygamy comparisons fail due to obvious reasons for incest and polygamy fails due to the damn near enslavement of females that follows (if you don't believe me, look at the role of women in any culture that allows polygamy). None of these issues are concerns in gay marriage or straight marriage.

First of all your way off track and very uneducated. The heterosexual marriage will one day be extinct because the heterosexual man can't keep his main brain zipped up in his pants. The women are leaving and joining us. The kids of today who will some day run our world are growing up with two mommies or two daddies. They are open minded and will stop all discrimination and allow gay marriage. We will be majority one day and heterosexual men will be left with sheep.

I see no problem with legalizing polygamy. If the people involved want to go through with it, and it's not hurting anyone, why not?
Marring inside the family, however, has genetic problems involved. If it didn't, I would see no problem with that, either.

Marriage is a holy matrimony. Its a religious practice, pure and simple. I think you shouldn't be able to marry unless you are actively involved in a church. Gays, bi's, They are not followers of god. They can live every aspect of there lives for god... but if you live to defi god (being a homo), you shouldn't be able to enter into holy matrimony. Same goes for multi wives. Follow the rules of marriage that god has set forth.

Yes, polygymy should be legalized. Blood relatives, i dont think is physiologically wise. Parent to offspring, thats just gross. as is sibling to sibling. First cousins, no. same problem. But polygymy. YES!
