Is talent measured by a number of fans, or is it discerned by educated critics and stapled in the form of prestige and awards?

I think she has a talent for writing and a talent for promoting her books, even though I don't agree with her views.

Probably not. With the proper promotion, almost anything can be sold to almost anyone.

That being said, it may also be more of a testament of the gullibility and/or stupidity of the American public, than of talent and/or righteousness. Anyone who claims that the 9/11 widows are money-grubbing whiners while promoting her own money-grubbing does not have a monopoly on righteousness, or compassion.

On the plus side, maybe with the money she makes, she can afford to get a heart transplant, though she seems to be functioning all right without one.

No, but I think it's a testament to the fact that people with morals are still in the majority, despite the constant barrage of liberal propaganda forced down the average American's throat.

No. It's a testament to her friends and her influence.
Talent is measured by how long the person's work endures.
What's the betting she'll be out of favor the moment her republican friends are gone.
