Im not being funny and i know not all muslims are the same but would you get on your plane if a full covered muslim was on your flight. I mean no offense what-so-ever but i am a very nervous fligher anyway, and be totaly honest if you were on the plane with you children could you honestly say you would stay on that plane?

Just like on a dark night you wouldnt walk down any un-lit alleys for fear of what might happen!

I don't fly as a matter of course. If I saw a Muslim getting on a plane in full garb I would not worry as I accept their way of life. Also, I have walked many streets in dark areas and had nothing to fear.

In all probability the ' covered person' who you believe may be a threat to your safety on the flight will have - with respect - been fully checked over by the Security people - more so possibly than you and your fellow passengers. If I had to choose between going on the flight with that person, or,walking down your ' unlit alleyway ', Guess what I would do ?

The 7/7 bombers weren't wearing traditional muslim dress.

If you were going to rob a bank would your walk round with your sawn off shotgun in full view?

If you were going to bomb a plane *in the current political climate*, would you attempt to get on the plane wearing a hijaab?

Have a word with yourself woman, m'kay?

I kind of take your point but it's a bit like saying you would never stroke a Yorksire Terrier because you know someone who was once bitten by one. The first seeds of prejudice are ignorance, I know you have not aimed to be offensive but is it fair to assume anyone who dresses in traditional muslim clothing is likely to be a terrorist? It is kind of what your question implies. It would be like assuming anyone who has a Northern Irish accent must be in the IRA.

The airport will check each and every passanger. They made mistake before but they are now alert. If you happen to sit by one. Please be polite. You do not want to create a mid air problem do you?

She needs to be canned! How hysterical is it to say she can teach effectively when you can't even see her mug? And she's too good to work with men? Give me a break!! Take her to YOUR school and give her a job! I feel sorry for your kids!!! You're perpetuating ignorance!! And to the guy who walks the dark streets, "we'll catch you one night"!!

Careful there, you are racial profiling. That was a joke, of course and I know what you mean. I guess i would probably get off the plane, depending on the urgency of my trip.
