You know how you try to get a cat in the sink to give it a bath, and it manages to use its legs on the sides so you can't get it in the sink? That was me when my mother tried to put me on the bus that day. I was such a wuss, lol. Cried, screamed, threw a fit. Don't remember much about the actual day in class other than I was terrified and my mother seemed a million miles away.

God, Loved the first day of Kindergarten!!!!!
My teacher was Mrs. Defazio, she had long black hair and was so pretty and she reminded me of "That Girl"
(goes to show you how old I am ) anyway, I became her favorite and would go to her house and have cookies and even went to an amusement park with her and two other students. Robin E and I can't remember the boy's name , anyway, the first day of school was so fun and we painted and did math, and I remember nap time. We had a small balance beam in our room and we all walked across it and I was the only one who did not fall off, ( I was a gymnast) She was just so sweet and kind and I really missed her when she moved away a couple years later and I still think of her often, always wanted her to be one of my big sisters. Heard she moved to Florida, Hey, if anyone knows a Mrs or Ms. Defazio in Florida who used to be a Kindergarten teacher, please let me know.
She will always be my favorite and Kindergarten will always be my favortie grade!!!!

I was sooo excited to go to kindergarten. I'm an only child so I was really looking forward to being with other kids.
My Grandpa went out and bought me a brand new pink vinyl Tinkerbell lunchbox, complete with the Thermos. I thought I was just so cool with that Tinkerbell lunchbox.
I distinctly remember getting off the school bus at the end of the day because I was excited to go home and tell my grandpa how much fun I had. I tripped getting off the bus and I dropped my lunchbox and broke the Thermos. God, I was devestated!! I cried and cried because I ruined my new lunchbox.
My grandpa went right out and got me a new, even better lunchbox. It was a metal one with Peanuts on it.
I miss my grandpa!

That was so long ago, it is hard to remember. I think what I remember was my head on the teachers desk and maybe crying, but I don't know if I was crying. I know the teacher was talking to me. I then remember sitting down in a chair and smiling. That's all I can remember. That was about 33 years ago.

That was 32 years ago. The only things I remember was my teacher was older than dirt and that I was so scared that I peed my pants. My mom had to come and bring me some clean clothes.

I never went to Kindergarten. I could already read so my parents didn't see the point. I feel like I missed out, though.

when i went i was the tallest one so it was kindof hard to fit in. as soon as i walked in the door i had butterflies in my stomach, my teacher had to distract me with blocks so my mom could leave.
If u need anything else e-mail me at hunnie_bunnie_5401@yahoo.com and put kindergarded in the subject box
