I thought a private unlisted, do not call phone number was not to be bothered? Wal-Mart is really getting on my nerves. I am starting to shop elsewhere. Does anyone else feel the same way I do about how lousy Wal-Mart is anymore? I know this may not be the right category(they don't have a shopping category), but shopping is kind of a recreation, isn't it?

I also lodged a complaint on Walmart's
web site.

Who thinks about giving a fictious phone number when the place pisses you off so much you just want to get out of there? They even stopped their Layaway program. Target is starting one, not that they are any better.

According to Wal-Mart, this survey is a fraud. Be careful with anyone calling about your information. Now I am worried that this woman has my checking account information. I think I will pay in cash from now on, until they link you with the serial numbers on the bills! Gotta love Big Brother.

I went to my bank to investigate this further to make sure this woman didn't have my account information, and the bank also confirmed that this was a scam.

Why would you give them a real phone number in the first place, unless you were an employee? Its not like the cashier who asks for it is going to turn around, type it into a database, and refuse to sell you that case of Sams Choice Root Beer because you gave them a fake phone number.

I hate Walmart. It has been crap for years for a number or reasons. This is just another reason, I suppose.
