First, to sassy_91, if a woman *Chooses* to be a stay at home mom, you say that you have the moral authority to tell her that she's wrong? All women that are stay at home mothers are doing that JOB by choice! No one is forcing them!

As for the actual question, unfortunately you are going to have a very difficult time proving your point in terms of locating articles. With this topic you will likely need to find some indirect statistics, such as the vastly larger number of divorces that occur where both the husband and wife work. However there is such a thing as a stay at home dad as well which will only furthur complicate your point.

I wish you luck on your essay.

So, you want articles about the very thing that we have been fighting against since the 1950's???? How about finding out why there is still a glass ceiling and there is still different pay rates for the same job men vs. women...and with today's economy how can we NOT be in the workplace...

How about this...

So men can keep women where they belong, barefoot and pregnant in the home, taking care of their wifely duties!

HELLO!!!! Welcome to the real world! Women belong in the work place. I cannot for the life of me think of one good reason why anyone, man or woman, should not work. Not even to stay home with the kids. Women need to work so that their daughters will work. Women who stay home only teach their children that that is how it works. Get with the program!

Holy shi?
There is no reason why. My Mother worked after I was born - till she died. Pony up and work.
