an affair took place within my marriage ......my husband had one.......when i found out i was devastated.....he said he was sorry would do anything to make it up to me etc etc........anyway the girl he had the affair with he worked side by side with........so no way would i put up with him going back to work there..which i what i said to him after the affair was found out.............anyway he said he couldnt quit because bills would pile up etc etc.......so i said well i cant deal with you working there with her .........he was adamant about not quiting...so i told him he had to leave then...........so he did and about 5 days later his mom unexpectedly passes away.....i go to the services of course.....during which i had a brief moment to talk to him about our lives and his reply to me was..........he needs time.........its been 6 months he has since moved in my this girl and shows no guilt nor remorse......prior to this affair i thought us happy .he said we were...what happened?

The ultimatum that you gave him pushed him into her arms. She's giving him everything he needs and so there is no burning desire for him to come back to you at the moment.
If she was out of the picture and he was living in a one room apartment, cooking for himself, and lonely..... guaranteed he'd be trying to get back with you but that's not the case.
Ultimatums don't work if your not willing to accept the consequences and move on. So more ultimatums aren't going to work. You can attract a lot more flies with honey than you can with vinegar. But why would you want this low life back in the first place?

Dont worry it wont work out with this new gal, the honey moon period only last so long + its no longer exciting because its not behind your back!
He is very confused & selfish!
What you need to do is go out have some fun. Think of it has his loss!
He will come crawling back and when he does u can ......
1) Take him back and be forever wondering if hes gonna cheat again.
2) laugh in hisface and tell him not to let the door hit in the *** on his way out!

You are better off without this loser. Dont take him back when his new relationship breaks up, as l'm sure you will be the first he calls. Just remember the hurt you felt. You will meet some new guy and fall in love again

I am gonna guess he was feeling pressure from every angle.He needed a job, you told him to quit. You kick him out, he needed a place to stay. I am not defending his actions, but they seem more reactionary to what you ask and you do not like his reactions. Anywho, enough of my psychobabble, good luck.
