What is the warm setting on my box fan for? I turn it on and nothing happens. Thanks!?

It's too ventilate the heat around the room.

Most box fans that have a thermostat on them are for use in a window setting. It's so that the fan will shut off if the air becomes cool enough so that you might feel COLD, like in the middle of the night. I've always set mine so that the fan just comes on, then if the air cools down much it will shut off by itself.
