Monopoly is long because you put $500 on "Free Parking"! The game shouldn't take longer than two hours using the standard rules. If you must use a variant use the one at the Hasbro web site. Go to "Instructions". Look for "Stockmarket (one word) Game". Download and enjoy.

I love Monopoly. Fun game to play.
The spaces remind me of being in Atlantic City.
I have KISSopoly which has a KISS theme to it. KISS albums and Merchandise as spaces. And the solo albums as railroads. I rake up a lot of money when they land on my spaces with gold and platinum records.
