I love this attribute of the Brasilian team and have always admired this quality in them. But why are they so religious ? I have noticed whenever they have won the World Cup or any Important match, they would huddle together and pray to God. Anyone knows the answer about why they always call on God ? I think it is beautiful!!!

Most Brasilians grow up with religion, it's part of there culture and way of life, i dont think there God fearing thou, they love him and support him for giving them the oppurtunities they have today such as playing football at the highest level, so it's respect to the man up stairs who gave them life to be where there at today....

OKay.. Brasil is a place of where christianity is spreaded out the most...
Also with other religions.... but half of the team are christians...they pray to God to thank Him for the opportunity, for the game, for the strength and so on...
THis is very easy for me to understand cuz i come from there... and i do think it's beautiful... i hope they continue doing that...
but it's not because they are fearing GOd... they are just showing a attribute like you said...
Let's hope that their prayers don't go unanswered...

What's so God Fearing about kicking a football. Brazil is a strongly Roman Catholic, yet I don't recall Ronaldo or Ronaldinho refusing to play games on a Sunday!

Because Brazil is 89% Christian the 2ND most in the world , next to the U.S. But they take they religion more seriously than others. You do the math !

not because the Brazilian team religious means they kick ***.... take Saudi Arabia 4 gods sake they r so religious , every single goal ... they all kneel 2 god and don't forget Italy and Egypt they r also kind of a religious community

yes brazilians are very religous its because we have to pray for forgiveness for kickin *** all the time lol but seriously brazil is a very dangerous place not everybodys catholic, in rio de janeiro there voodoo beaches alot of killings and robberies the worst place is a slum in rio called the "city of god" very poor ,very bad
