UK's race problem is all it's own - it has nothing to do with US's Iran policy.
Exactly what has the US done wrong to Iran? You never state it, so we can only guess!
I agree you shouldn't blindly follow anyone. But how would you deal with Iran? You apparently have all the answers so let's hear them!

Race relations have "declined" because race is on the forefront of discussion and more people are sharing views that are interpreted and misinterpreted, quoted and misquoted.
I dont know what you're referencing where it comes to Iran, so either email me some information or post some links to either credible information or to the questions themselves.
Race relations get uneasy when the "solution" doesnt solve the problem. Some "solutions" are little more than a placebo to give the impression that the issue is solved or being dealt with while the real problem is left untouched...which means that when enough people arent satisfied with the placebo, you'll either have to find another placebo or deal with the root of the issue.
Muslims are not a race, but a religion. Please do not confuse one for the other.
Who are we to say Iran cannot have nuclear weapons/power? I have heard this catch phrase quite a bit. The answer is fairly simple. Ask yourself a question: Do you trust Iran, North Korea, or any other present day country that does not already have nuclear weapons/power to use it responsibly and not as a weapon? If your answer is "yes" then you are a far greater risk-taker than I.
I do not trust either Iran or N Korea not to use it as a weapon, so for the sake of self-preservation, I feel it would be in everyone's best interest for them not to have it. Even those of you who may be from countries who have good relations with those countries should consider that just because they are your allies today, does not ensure they will be tomorrow...

If I'm reading your "question" correctly - you're blaming US for the lousy race relations (not to mention home grown terorists) in the UK?
I have no idea what you are referring to when you say "do this" to Iran. Iran would be the Country who murders people at will and is determined to drive Israel into the sea, right?
No one should blindly follow anyone. No one should believe your premise that WE are to blame for the collapse of your Empire, the dual citizenship all members of your former Empire enjoy, the horrific treatment by your Empire on ALL your former little slave countries (Ireland, Scotlans, Wales, USA, Canada...) enjoy, etc. Might it not be that some of your countrymen hold a grudge that's been in the works for centuries. You guys weren't too nice, you know.
The World will implode if ANY of these a**holes nuke anybody - and that includes the UK and the USA.

Unfortunately or history is to intertwined with USA to change, it's not a matter of following blindly and our future is also always going to be combined with the USA. As to the race relations in the UK this is down to underlying problems that have always been there but because of the present climate are getting more air time. The problems that have arisen because of the Muslim religion are down to the hard line clerics that interpret the Koran as they see fit but if you look at any modern religion they all have hard line factions within them. As well as Muslims are the Ultra Orthodox Jews (Haredi Judaism) who are not above suicide bombings against there own kind to promote unease in Jerusalem.

I think it depends where you live to be able to state if race relations have actually declined since Iran, and if this is the major contributing factor.
Personally I think race relations where I live have dramatically improved since it happened, but then I did move from SE London to Cornwall!!!

In my opinion "Good ol Uncle Sam" is arguably the biggest terrorist this planet has ever seen. If he doesn't agree with what your doing or how your country is being run then you can bet your bottom dollar that your next up for invasion, be your government democratically elected or not! AMERICA...Land of the Free!!!????? maybe...SO LONG AS YOU DO WHAT YOUR TOLD! .....OH, and whats all this "For God and America" crap? Is that supposed to justify their universal acts of relentless mass genocide on the worlds "weaker and non conforming" people?? Well I thought it said in the ten commandments...THOU SHALL NOT KILL!!! God will be chuffed with the Good ole US of A!!!

Hey moron the religious friction in the UK is not because the US is strong enough to try and put Iran in its place. The radical actions by violent Muslims is bring out the hostilities of others. The normal Muslim is a good person and gets along fine in whatever society they find themselves.

The UK is dead meat.
We didn't let 2 million Muslims into Britain.
They can burn your country to the ground if you make them mad.
Besides, because of your socialism, you will be a Third World Nation in 20 years.
