I know, that is SOO annoying, Sunday is a day too why can't there be anything on or something, just like every other day of the week? I know it's a religious day for christians and I totally get that. but still! u can have some good shows on anyway!

The TV on Sunday nights has been pretty good recently. There is a lot of rubbish on but you have to shift through it. Last night "Jane Eyre" finished a run on BBC1 which was a classic period drama. "Prime Suspect" was back on for a two-part concluding episode to finish the long-running programme.
Just a few examples that Sunday night television is well and truly living.

I agree with the Desperate Housewives fans!
However, I know that football DOES take up most of the day. My advice to you would be to get TiVo. Then you will NEVER be without something you want to watch, no matter WHAT day of the week it is! It's the best entertainment investment I ever made....no more flipping thru channels trying in vain to find something to watch. When I turn on the tv, there's always my chosen shows just waiting for me! And I don't have to watch the commercials either.......

Well it is because all the God-fearing folks keep Sunday as a day of worship, or something inane like that so the programmes are aimed at church goers (songs of praise etc) and old folk (antiques roadshow & last of the summer whine (!)) .
You know UFC 64 is on right now on Bravo and that's worth watching - Rich Franklin is fighting! Go put it on right now!

Just watched Helen Mirren in prime Suspect.... concluding part must be next Sunday. Nothing else much on repeat of Galapagos, very good series. Have our expectations become too great I wonder?

TV people must think that people go places on sun and wouldn't have time for tv as many peoples only day off in week.
I tonight quite liked Jane Eyre BBC1 9pm
In Rep of Irl Killinascully comedy 8.30pm v.good esp as Pat Shortt plays 5 characters and our Irish soap Fair City poor Lorcan dying from being shot by under cover cop.
Charmed on Channel4 was good not much part from that on deal or no deal very disappointing tonight and don't like it on Sun.
Sun worst day for tv
Too many repeats of shows on Sun too such as hollyoaks, x-factor, Corrie, Eastenders (like home and away repeats in Irl on sun thou)
