I am a teen and need extra money on the side for the usual coffee, upgrading cellphone, movies (my addiction). My mom won't give me that much so I want to get a job. I'm 15 but most places state you must be 16 to work their. What if I get working papers from my school. Could I then apply for the jobs that specify must be over 16. And if anyone knows any major or any franchise that allows 15 year olds to work please list them. Thanks guys!

Check into local community programs in your area. I was able to get a summer job at 14 through such a program (BVCAP- Blackstone Valley Community Action Program). I also used to babysit on the side. That was always good for some cash, and fun too.

Can you mow lawns? Shovel snow? Deliver newspapers? Wash cars? Babysit? I'd check with your teachers and/or parent's friends for odd jobs. You can find something! (You're addicted to coffee at 15? That's scary)

Why don't you open up a sellers account on Ebay or Amazon. I think you are old enough for that.
Sell all the stuff you no longer want or use.

Try a pizza parlor or party center. These are both good places to start working.

try asking your mom to put ur money on a prepaid visa that way u will probally learn responsibility
