I am looking to have my tubes untied also. I was very young when it was done...but then my oldest son died...divorced a year later...and am remarried now. If I had known all of that...I would not have done it then. Ins or medicaid wont pay. But there are places availabe you can set up an account and make payments to have it done. It costs around 6000.00dollars. Chapel Hill clinic in North Carolina has a great success rate. They have a website..not sure what it is..but do a search on that clinic. They also offer the payment plan. Hope this helps you. Good luck to you.

Medicaid will not pay to have your tubes untied only tied. The government feels they want have anything to do with you having more children for them to pay for it. but they will tie them so you want have anymore so they want have to pay for them. Sorry and good luck.

I'm fairly certain they don't.
I think they consider it "elective surgery". Same thing goes for vasectomy.
